We were contracted by our client in Singapore to develop a website to showcase the projects of a property developer in Myanmar. To this end, our client came up with designs and sought out our opinions on the feasibility of their design, how to implement responsiveness, and the various interactions needed for the site.
Technical Advice
We acted as consultants and recommended to our client to implement the property map using scalable vector graphics (SVG). This allowed lower file sizes, infinite scaling, higher image quality, and most importantly, interactivity that would be far superior than what an image map could achieve.
Pixel Perfect
We also developed a pixel perfect landing page for their new property in development – Lotus Hill. In addition, we advised on how the irregular layouts can be made more aesthetically appealing with scroll based reveal animations. As the provided designs were only for desktop screen widths, we also worked together with our client to decide how the layout changes across various screen sizes.
Client Happiness
Due to the need to be pixel perfect, the project was launched in 2 phases. Phase 1 met the launch timeline with most of the pages fully editable via WordPress while the pixel perfect landing page partially consisted of static HTML, CSS, and JS. After the successful launch, we continued to phase 2 to make the entire site editable.
The client was happy with our work and we continued to work on other projects together.
